My middle child, Lily-Grace is my crafty girl and any time I step foot in my craft closet, she is right behind me. When we were on vacation in Michigan, I brought my vintage train case that I had filled to the brim with my bits and bobs. She loves to sit at the table and rummage through all of the stuff {I guess I can't blame her} and she ALWAYS wants to use my best vintage trims and millinery flowers {she has great taste}. I finally gave in a gave her a pile of new and vintage trimmings to create something on her own. She first sketched a design of what she wanted to make and then she created it. Look at her sweet drawing {I kept it and it now hangs in my craft closet}.
It is exciting when your children's creativity flourishes in front of your eyes....

That is one of the sweetest posts....I so love it when the kids want to create. Lincoln whittled me a letter opener and added vintage rhinestones and sheet music....because he knew I would love it!! LOL....and I did.

She is truly an artist, and how can she not be following in her mothers foot steps. Blessed are you....

I love her design! She is very talented. It's so wonderful that you share your stuff with her and allow her to create as she wishes.
