Sorry I haven't been around much lately, but I have been so busy at work and with my kids. It seems like it is leaving less and less time to connect with all of you. Once school starts back up, I will be more on a schedule and back to blogging more frequently. My family and I headed to Northern Michigan to our cottage (in Houghton lake) over the 4th of July week. We had so much fun, going to Petoskey, Lake City and just having fun with family and close friends. I did squeeze in a little antique shopping and creating while my husband stayed late at the camp fire with our older kids and Lucy slept away. I had this old embroidery hoop laying around and I used vintage paper instead of fabric and embellished with lace and millinery flowers. I was going to list it in my Etsy shop (yes, I know I never list anything anymore) but I think I will hang it on the Christmas tree instead. Here are some photos of the fun and I will be back soon posting more of my creations soon.

Gorgeous work!
I totally relate to trying to get stuff done while the kids are off for summer. Our schedules are completely off. It's fun though!

You are amazing. I have two granddaughters named Lily and Grace, and were there another, she would be Olivia. I found you in the May/June Somerset Studio and adore your work!!!
You advertise, but may I be so lame as to ask what for? I don't see anything for sale anywhere, and that has to be my foolishness.
Again, I your work is perhaps the prettiest I've seen yet in the world of mixed-media.

I'm back of course. I LOVE your work was the word I left out. I wanted to email you, but only get a window warning that this may be a phishing site. Whatever that is. So it's comment city.
You have inspired me to do some fancier pretty things for my dolls and other creations. Thank you so much!

Oh my gosh, what a sweet little passel of girls you have. That Lucy looks like a squeezeable little cutie. Or am I sounding too much like a grandma?
