A couple of weeks ago, I found this old lumber apron that I am not sure why I bought it but I did. The dingy old apron was calling me, I guess. I think I liked it because it said Springdale, Arkansas {which is the town next to mine}. I loved the idea of having something that said Arkansas so I can remember my time here in Arkansas. There have been a lot of things going on in my personal life {nothing bad......I promise} and I don't think Arkansas will be a place that my family will call home forever. Anyway, I am digressing....I decided to make a a skirt to the bottom of the apron and I used my best stash of vintage crochet trims and laces. I like how it is a bit industrial and soft and feminine at the same time and I think my mannequin likes it too. Happy Saturday!
