I am so happy to be a part of a special surprise baby shower for someone who I admire greatly and who I can also call a friend....Andrea Singarella. She is expecting her third child and it is a girl! She and her family are over the moon about it. So, we all decided to get together and throw her an on-line baby shower. Hope and Gabrielle are visiting her right now and they are going to surprise her with presents from all the girls who participated. How fun and I wish I could be there.....Below is what I made for Andrea, it is a wall hanging with the word Bambina (baby girl in Italian). I have to say, it was my very first time to hand stitch something so cut me some slack....it is VERY HARD! I don't think it is my thing, I am not sure I have the patients for it.
Here is a photo of the card I made her...If you are wondering, no I didn't stitch the word baby....(way to hard). I was smart enough to cut it out from a vintage baby night shirt. Don't worry, it was in terrible shape and I salvaged the best part.
Below are the links of the other girls who participated...stop on by and see all of the lovely baby gifts.
XoXo, Lori

Lori, your gift for Andrea was lovely. Just the right colors, too. I would love to try free form sewing. Actually, most of my sewing projects could be considered "unintentional free-form", lol
