I was able to do a little shopping while I was at Silver Bella and here are a few things I bought on Jessie's bus tour and meeting up with Karla in Kansas City at the Rusty Chandelier. My husband took that little quote card that says "Never spend your money before you have it" and tucked it into my wallet. He thought he was being sneaky...when I was looking for my credit card, I laughed to myself.
When I came home from Silver Bella, my girls gave me the last pink rose from the garden. They waited to cut it right when I got home so it wouldn't wilt. Now isn't that sweet? I have trained them well uh?
Look at this ledger I bought, it is huge (I think it is about 14x20), heavy and filled with pages with beautiful handwriting. I have it just sitting on our leather tufted ottoman in the family room.
I also bought this one and it is just as huge but I am going to use the pages in this one for projects.
I think this sweet little book was my favorite purchase.
Inside there is a page that says "love one another" how sweet is that?
Look at all of the wonderful gifts from my generous roommates (Andrea, Jenn, Gabrielle and Tiffany) and Karla. I am a lucky girl! (I started taking photos of them separately with Andrea's but there are just to many of them to do it separately that is why I put them all together...I am getting tired of these long posts).
Mendy made me a small version of the famous Texas mum. I put it on my goodie bag that we all received on the opening night. It looks perfect on there uh?
Look at the cover of the fat book swap....it is so pretty. I am so happy I joined this swap, I think it was my favorite one that I joined.
Here are a few pages from the book.
I have one more post that I want to do on Silver Bella and then I think I covered it all for you in detail.
At Silver Bella I took Pam's advent wreath class and I decided to head in a different direction than what Pam showed in class. I am still not done with it but I thought I should show you anyway. I plan on adding the bits and bobs around the entire wreath.
I love this photo of Andrea carrying her wreath.
Below are photos from Pam's Lineage of Love class...again, I am not done but I thought I would show you. I used photos of my Grandparents (Agnes & Walter) I bet you are sensing some pattern here, I didn't finish many projects. I think I was to busy talking. I am not sure when I will finish all of these projects with the holidays fast approaching?
I had a fun time in Jennifer's class and I am a big fan. Look at my little guy....isn't he cute. She had her originals that she let us take a look at and OMG....to die for. I took a few photos of them.
Here is my Hod Podge Journal from Rebecca's class. I turned it into a book to hold all of my Silver Bella memories. I had a few of Bella's sign it and I wish I would of had more of them write me little notes.
I forgot to take a photo of my vintage rosary necklace, what a fun class and I am going to check out the French General website this weekend. I was definitely out of my element in that class but I had fun. I would like to start making jewelry, not to sell I will leave that to the experts, just to make a few pieces for myself. Below are some photos from vendor night....picture this, me holding a glass of wine, my camera and new treasurers....I couldn't take that many photos.
These photos are all of the projects from my roommates. After our classes were done, we would all just lay the finished projects on the table and look how pretty they all look just laying there.
I took a few shots of the pretty suitcases holding the most amazing supplies for the classes.
Yep that is me with my IDOL Pam Garrison....I finally met her and took two of her classes! I am not sure where I should begin with recapping my experience at Silver Bella, there is so much to talk about. I will have to share it with you in multiple posts. I was also excited to meet Jo Packham from Where Women Create. I wish she could of spoke longer, I could of listened to her all night long.
It was so nice to be able to finally meet so many of my blogging friends. I am not sure how to explain how wonderfulit was being surrounded by a group of women who all think the same about things. I will have to save that for one entire post...How about I just share with you some fun photos of the event. Those cupcakes were delicious! This was the glitter lounge that Karla hosted, I had so much fun drinking champaign before the welcome night.
This is going to be my last post while I am away at Silver Bella. So, I thought I would give a way one paper prize ribbon to a lucky winner....Just for the girls who weren't able to attend. Just leave a comment on this post and when I return, I will use the random number generator to post the winner.
I promise to give you a FULL report on all of the festivities.
This is just a quick hello...I was packing up all of my Silver Bella stuff (to get it off the dinning room table so the cleaning lady can actually clean) and I had to take a photo of a gift for one of my roommates. I love the image of this baby and I am bit annoyed that I can't find the original photo. I took it work to make photo copies and I am not sure what the heck I did with it. I hope I didn't leave it on the printer?....I keep thinking to myself, who in the world would want the photo? I know I would and maybe you but nobody at work would. Oh well.....Sorry I am rambling on....have a great night.
I usually leave my daughter's love notes or doodles and leave them in their lunch boxes so they can think of their Momma while they are at school. Well, look at what my daughter Lily-Grace has been leaving me....love notes. They are priceless!
