This morning while Lucy slept and my girls were at their skating lessons, I was working on a couple of projects for a Etsy update. (My poor little shop is NEVER stocked....I know, I am working on it). I was zipping along with my sewing machine and some how my image got stuck in the machine and instead of throwing it away...I used the ripped image to make a tag. I covered up the rip with a scrap piece of lace. So, my lesson to you is never throw away any scraps, you never know when they might come in handy or they may turn into something great.
A couple of week ago I received an email asking me a question about a swap I am hosting for Silver Bella and to make a long story short..... come to find out, her parents live four miles from me and she was planning a visit. I never ever get any Bella's coming to visit Arkansas. Bryanna came over last night and we were able to talk about crafting and Silver Bella. How fun is that? I look forward to connecting with her again because it is so nice to meet someone who gets you and no worrying about having to explain why you have a tulle skirt as a lampshade in your family room. You get my point....I am sure many of you feel the same way. Here is a photo of the two of us.
I am to go hang out with the kiddos. Have a great Saturday.

Absolutely fabulous tag. I try not to throw anything out but sometimes hubby gets into things. Ugh!!
that's so exciting that you got to hang out with a like minded lady. Totally get what you mean.
Have fun with the kiddos.

It's just so important to have friends who "get" you!
Very important.

Oh no, just when I was beginning to tell myself it was ok to throw away scraps! Your tag is lovely and I do get about using scraps. Nice you got to meet Bryanna before SB!

You are so right. Don't throw anything out.
What fun that you got to meet up with Bryanna. I love the lampshade bit - oh so true. Such fun when someone 'gets' you and no explanations are needed

Lori,
I found your site after reading your comment on Holly Doodle Designs regarding Oklahoma. Love your art...I grew up just down the road from Fayetteville and still have family in that area.
I have also lived in Oklahoma...so I got Holly's piece.
I will visit again.
