I promise...this will be the last of the photos of my paper stash I bought a couple of days ago. Now, this is one that I will keep the original and scan to use in my art. I just love this image of these women and I also love what is written under Young Ladies Journal, fashion, fancy work, family reading & etc. I am not sure what they considered fancy work but I love it. Here are some more photos of the journal.
I am really bummed that this vintage college poster is missing a potion of it. I would of loved to of had it framed for my husband for his office. Isn't it fun?
These posters were all folded up and they are so brittle and falling apart, but I still love them. If I had a larger laundry room, I would have them framed. I am not sure what I am going to do with them? I am just really bummed about the football one. I guess what do you expect when something is that old and from the late 1800's.
Before I tell you about my funny story...check this out. I don't think it is the best photo of me, but I had to send them something and my husband took it right after I went back to work at 7:00 am. Oh my!
Ok, here is my funny story....Please keep this just between you and I ok? I have been away on a business trip since Monday and I was sitting on the airplane thinking that I forgot something and then it dawned on me. I totally forgot to pack my underwear...can you believe that! I landed in Cincinnati and all fo the stores were closed and the one store that was open was Walgreen's. I went in there thinking to myself....I really hope they sell underwear and guess what? THEY DO! How about that. I was so embarrassed buying a pack of Hanes underwear at Walgreen's. There you have it. Shhh....please keep this one just between us girls.
P.S. Even though I am staying at a very nice hotel, I have the worst TV channels at the hotel and I am watching Dog the bounty hunter because there is noting on. Please save me!
