I am home from my business trip and it was a great trip because I went back to Detroit so I was also able to see my family. It is so nice to go back home! I did some Christmas shopping for the kids as well as myself while I was gone. Look at these wonderful vintage ornaments I bought. I have a bunch of these ornaments in apothecary jars and these wouldn't fit so I just placed them in this wire basket.
For the girls who live in MI, I went to Needful Things in Flint and it use to be great...but I don't think it was as good as it use to be. I thought the prices were a bit high, maybe I am just use to all of my junk stores now? I did find one major deal there though....a full box of millinery flowers for $5.00. Pretty lucky uh?
I love these images of women. I thought I could use them for something in the future.
Look at this woman on the need case, don't you just love her hair?

I went to one thrift store and look what I found, she was in her original plastic cloche. I didn't need her but she was only $3.00 and she is in prefect condition so one of my girls will get her for Christmas from their Momma.
I found this vintage wrapping paper at another antique store for $1.50. I love bargains.
On another note...I have to say thanks to Heather for giving us all the tip on these. I bought a bunch of them and they are now on our tree and I love them! I went to Target and they have a little bit of glass glass this year and I bought the snowflakes for $1.99. I have been adorning my house with them and I am going back to get more.
Just one more thing...My daughter and I went to Hanna Montanna last night in Little Rock and we had a blast. It was a lot of fun and my daughter danced the ENTIRE time and screamed. Funny uh? Look at her outfit for the concert. I don't think I was this cool at her age. It was all her idea to put her hat off to the side. I look at this photo and she looks SO big. Oh my. I am off to get our house back together, it is a mess. Have a great Sunday.
