I have been at our cottage in northern Michigan and I usually take my crafting supplies with me to keep me occupied while my husband golfs. I found this old lumber apron and I added a touch of lace to the bottom to give it a bit of femininity. I can't wait to wear it to Karla Nathan's birdsong event.
A couple of weeks ago my mom and I went to the Utica antique market. It was so much fun to rummage through all of the booths. I did find some great things and I ran out I cash very quickly. That is why I love antique malls...they accept credit cards.
This will be my second post using my iPhone and I will TRY and keep up posting on a more frequently.
A couple of weeks ago I brought home this shabby cabinet for our hallway and my husband asked where are the chickens....he thought is was the most awful thing I had ever bought, BUT I love it. For whatever reason he thinks it belongs in a chicken coop....what does he know? Anyway, I now have a place to store all of my china and I couldn't be happier.
I am very excited to be teaching a class in June at Birdsong hosted by the lovely Karla Nathan. I think there are only a few spots left so if you are interested please contact Karla and I hope to see you at the cottage.
I feel so bad, my little blog is like a long lost friend to me... it seems like it is always there for me but I seem to be so busy with my new friends like Instagram, Facebook or Pintereset. I just want you to know Vintage Flair...you will always be my favorite and I can't image my life without you...even though you have been so neglected. We use to be the best of friends...what happened? I need to be a better friend to you....please forgive me for be tempted by these "others" that are so fast to stay connected with my creative friends. It seems like I can take a photo in a matter of minutes with Instagram but as I am typing this, I have been sitting here for 10 minutes typing away and it takes so long to create a post these days. Vintage Flair....I just need to figure out a way to incorporate you into my extremely busy world.
P.S. Yes, in case you have forgotten, I am your long lost author of this blog!
